Snow sports extension
This is exclusive to STA Travel as no other student insurance in SA covers you for these benefits.

| Ski Equipment | If they are lost, stolen or damaged during your ski trip. |
| Ski Pack | Unused portion of your ski pack if you are unableto use the SKI Pack facilities because of serious injury or illness. |
| Avalanche Closure | If as a direct result of an avalanche reasonable travel expenses incurred will be refunded. |
| Piste Closure | Due to a lack of snow which prevents you from skiing, a benefit of R500 per day to travel to another resort. |
