Basic but clean hostel with good location

Good location, a few minutes walk away from Union Square. People in my room were friendly and welcoming.

Staff were very helpful all through my stay. I loved the free breakfast and met many people through this. The ensuite bathroom was good and everything felt very clean. I could have stayed there for a weeks holiday quite happily. I also felt very safe walking around there and found it very easy to find. It was also easy to walk to the main square from there and then I could catch buses from there to all over the city. I felt very relaxed and loved it.

The hostel was in a great location, not far from Union Square which has transport to everywhere in San Francisco. Although many other hostels are in the same location so this isn't really a great bonus. But this is the cheapest place.

For a 6 person Hostel, it was very clean and a young and friendly environment
