In 2010 the vinspired Lake of the Stars Festival returns to the palm fringed shores of lake Malawi for three sun-filled days of music, arts and culture - a life changing experience in the warm heart of Africa. This year brings together an electic mix of live music and DJ acts from established internationl names to up and coming homegrown talent.

2010 Vinspired Lake of Stars Festival
15 - 17 October 2010 Sunbird Nkopola Lodge, Mangochi, Malawi
Headlining the festival is award-winning Zimbabwean musician, composer and guitarist Oliver Mtukudzi plus African-debut of UK powerhouse, Noisettes. The best line up yet with more than 40 artists from Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Burundi and the UK including Peter Mawanga, Aly Keita, Tinashé, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Afrikan Boy, Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, Nomfusi and the All Stars, Sally Nyundo, Eddy Temple Morris and Goldierocks.
New in 2010, an amazing arts and development programme featuring dance, spoken word, theatre, film, interactive workshops, local food fair and development village and much, much more.
Get involved This year we are joining with new partners throughout the Africa to get the message out and grow the festival. It is easy to get involved, why not:
• promote the festival and artists through your website, social media and mailing lists
• distribute our flyers and posters (attached is the flyer, let us know if you would like us to post you more)
• include the festival in your travel/volunteer packages
• organise a group of 10 or more people and receive a discount of festival tickets
• become a partner or sponsor, or
