| Day 1: Arrive Cairo Arrive into Cairo International Airport. Take your included transfer from the airport to the hotel and join your fellow travellers and Trip Leader in the evening to learn more about your trip. |
| Day 2: Cairo Visit the Egyptian Museum, housing relics that include the magnificent treasures of King Tutankhamun. Tour Giza, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Train it overnight to Aswan. (B) |
| Days 3-4: Aswan Opt to visit the Philae Temple, then continue on to a Nubian Village to learn about the lifestyle and customs of this region’s original inhabitants. Take the chance to dine on the banks of the Nile in the evening. The next day make an early departure to Abu Simbel and visit the incredible temple built by Ramesses II. Visit the Temple of Hathor, built in honour of Ramesses’ wife, Queen Nefertari - goddess of love and music. Board a felucca on your return to Aswan. (2B, L, D) |
| Day 5: River Nile A full day of sailing and a true experience of what life along the Nile is like. On board, the Nubian people will crew, cook and sail, giving you the chance to take 5 and relax. (B, L, D) |
| Day 6: Luxor Visit Edfu temple. Continue to the ancient capital of Luxor and opt to take a horse and cart to the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Check out the gold & silver markets and opt to go to the Temple’s evening Sound & Light show. (B) |
| Days 7-8: Hurghada Take a guided tour of the Valley of the Kings and visit the Ramesseum Temple. Transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea in the afternoon and soak in the scenery. Depart for Dahab by overnight bus on Day 8. (2B) |
| Day 9: Dahab Arrive in Dahab in the morning and check in to your hotel ensuite cabin accommodation at the campsite. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and relax. |
| Days 10-13: Dahab Spend the next few days soaking up some sunshine at your own leisure. Swim, snorkel and get in some water sports action or take the plunge and do some amazing Red Sea diving. On land, experience the thrill of a desert safari on quad bikes, horses or camels. And take advantage of a night trip to the top of Mt Sinai. |
| Days 14-15: Depart Cairo Leave Dahab and set off into the mountains of the Sinai Peninsula on your return to Cairo. (Those extending their trip to Jordan will be transferred to the ferry instead). Spend your last day exploring and depart on Day 15. (B) |
