Surfing is not just a sport, but a way of life; hang ten and catch a wave on this compact, four day program, designed to teach you the basics of surfing and its unique counter-culture. Our beach of choice is Praia Arpoador, nestled between its more famous neighbours, Ipanema and Copacabana right in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.

| Day 1: Arrive Rio de Janeiro Make your way to the Rio hotel and get settled in. Your day is free to enjoy the many elements for which Rio de Janeiro is famous including Sugarloaf, Christ the Redeemer, the beaches and the endless shopping. |
| Day 2-3: Rio de Janeiro Spend two days learning the basics of surfing. The first lesson is started on the sand with the basics but by the end of the lessons you will be in the sea riding real waves. Your classes will be in the morning so your afternoons and evenings are free to explore the city. |
